Slitterhead for PlayStation 5 is an action, adventure, and survival game set in the densely populated city of Kowlong. Hyoki, an entity with no body or memories, can possess humans and animals to explore the city, overcome obstacles, and fight the Slitterheads. In combat, Hyoki uses the vital energy of the bodies and turns blood into a weapon.
The story follows Hyoki’s quest to discover its origins and eliminate the Slitterheads. The Sight Jacking mechanic allows players to see through the eyes of enemies, while certain characters retain their consciousness when possessed and provide access to special abilities. Kowlong’s atmosphere combines neon lighting with dark corners, accompanied by music by Akira Yamaoka.
