The pole literally broke on the second day at the beach. There was no wind at all. I just tried to set it up on a beach with very soft sand, and it broke. Completely fake. The top part is ok. But keep in mind with the price that you will need to buy an extra pole.

The lower pointed end broke during the first use at the beach. The mechanism that tilts the umbrella's canopy broke during the second use. The handle of the case tore off during the third use.

The size is good and it's a beautiful umbrella, but that's it. The mechanism that opens and closes at the base of the umbrella broke on the third use, resulting in the umbrella no longer being able to fit onto the pole, so it is now useless.

The 5th * doesn't get it because on the second time it broke - the bottom cap of the pole (plastic cone shape) got crumpled. Other than that, a very nice umbrella with beautiful colors!

I have no experience with expensive or "good" umbrellas in general; I always used to buy those cheap ones from the mini markets. This year, I decided to make a difference and chose this one. It left me amazed with its quality and beauty. In terms of the latter, it was easily the most beautiful and pleasant-to-the-eye umbrella at any beach I went to this year. In terms of the former, at a beach in southern Crete where I was and it was very windy on some days, after I tied it down with 3 ropes to thick stones and lowered it a bit, it didn't move at all. Only one day did I struggle when there was borderline storm-like wind and the beach had even sandblasting from its fine pebbles. And I struggled because I didn't have a weight or anything like that to not be afraid it would take off, so I held it the whole time. Although I didn't enjoy that day at all (as it turned out, we simply shouldn't have stayed at the beach that day), the umbrella, despite all the times its ribs bent (and we're talking about prolonged right angles several times), never broke. Truly an incredible purchase!
Δεν έχω εμπειρία από ακριβές ή "καλές" ομπρέλες εν γένει, πάντα έπαιρνα εκείνες της πλάκας από τα μινιμάρκετ. Φέτος αποφάσισα να κάνω τη διαφορά και διάλεξα τη συγκεκριμένη.
Με άφησε έκπληκτο με την ποιότητα αλλά και την ομορφιά της. Στο δεύτερο, ήταν άνετα η πιο όμορφη και ευχάριστη στο μάτι ομπρέλα σε οποιαδήποτε παραλία πήγα φέτος.
Στο πρώτο, σε παραλία στη νότια Κρήτη όπου βρισκόμουν και φύσαγε κάποιες μέρες πολύ, αφότου την έδεσα με 3 σχοινιά σε χοντρές πέτρες και την κατέβασα λίγο, δεν κουνήθηκε καθόλου. Μόνο 1 μέρα βασανίστηκα που είχε οριακά θεομηνία σε αέρα και η παραλία είχε μέχρι και αμμοβολή από τα λεπτά βότσαλά της. Και ζορίστηκα επειδή δεν είχα κρουστικό ή κάτι τέτοιο για να μην φοβάμαι μην μου την πάρει, επομένως την κρατούσα συνέχεια.
Αν και δεν ευχαριστήθηκα καθόλου εκείνη την μέρα λοιπόν (όπως αποδείχτηκε, απλώς δεν έπρεπε να κάτσουμε στην παραλία εκείνη τη μέρα), η ομπρέλα, παρ όλες τις φορές που λύγισαν οι ακτίνες της (και μιλάμε για παρατεταμένη ορθή γωνία κάμποσες φορές), δεν έσπασε ποτέ.
Πραγματικά απίστευτη αγορά!

Very good construction. Both the pole and the umbrella are of high quality. The ribs are flexible so they don't break easily and the thick fabric provides very good shade. I highly recommend it!
Πολύ καλή κατασκευή. Και το κοντάρι αλλά και η ομπρέλα είναι ποιότικά. Οι ακτίνες είναι ευλίγιστες για να μην σπάνε εύκολα και το ύφασμα χοντρό κάνει πολύ καλή σκιά.

I rarely write reviews for products, but here I will make an exception. It is the third umbrella I have, the first 2 are brand name and I bought this one as a supplement. The quality of construction is excellent, and the wind resistance is great as I tested it yesterday with 7 bf winds. Combined with the special ground anchoring pockets, the umbrella does not move from the ground. The fabric is very thick and has an aluminum coating inside along with air vents. A very good choice, with a big price difference from the brand name ones. Also, a very nice design, finally something different from all the others, you can easily spot it on the beach.
Σπάνια κάνω κριτικές για προϊόντα, εδώ θα κάνω μια εξαίρεση. Είναι η τρίτη ομπρέλα που έχω, οι 2 πρώτες είναι επωνυμες και την αγόρασα για συμπληρωματική. Η ποιότητα κατασκευής είναι εξαιρετική, και η αντοχή στον αέρα μαζί που τη δοκίμασα χθες με 7 bf αέρα υποδειγμάτων. Σε συνδυασμό με τις ειδικές θήκες για στέρηση στο έδαφος ,η ομπρέλα δεν κουνιέται από το έδαφος. Το ύφασμα είναι πολύ χοντρό και έχει επίστρωση αλουμινίου εσωτερικά μαζί με τους αεραγωγούς . Πολύ καλή επιλογή, με μεγάλη διαφορά τιμής απο τις επώνυμες. Επίσης πολύ ωραίο σχέδιο, επιτέλους κάτι διαφορετικά από οέσ τις άλλες, μπορείς να την εντοπίσεις εύκολα στην παραλία.
