Juniper (Juniperberry), scientifically known as Juniperus Communis, is a coniferous plant from the Cypress family with over 60 species of aromatic evergreen trees or shrubs. A wild plant in Greece, it is also known as juniper.
The essential oil of Juniper is obtained through steam distillation of the plant's seeds and has a fresh, balsamic, woody, and peppery aroma. It combines exceptionally well with:

- lemongrass
The essential oil of Juniper has notable therapeutic properties. It helps stimulate the lymphatic system and invigorate circulation. It has a soothing effect on varicose veins, phlebitis, and broken capillaries.
Additionally, it is excellent for cold hands and feet, providing relief from muscle pain, stiffness, and arthritis and rheumatism pains. It helps regulate the menstrual cycle and promotes antiseptic action, making it ideal for conditions like cystitis. It has a tonic effect on the liver, digestive, and reproductive systems, and is also suitable for hemorrhoids.
When applied to the skin, it opens the pores and expels toxins, helping combat cellulite. Medically, it has healing properties in cases of acne, dermatitis, psoriasis, and weeping eczema.
