A very nice game. It was unfairly buried by the “community” when it came out last December. I picked it up for dirt cheap as a new physical cartridge for the Switch 1. Okay, on the Switch 1, obviously the graphics don’t have the resolution they do in the Switch 2 version, but it runs smoothly, with no stuttering at all. On the small screen of the Switch 1 Lite, I think it looks beautiful. Other than that, it’s Metroid Prime; there’s not much to say for those who know the series. An exploration, puzzle, and first-person shooter game, one of the best on a Nintendo platform. Buy it without hesitation. And in general, go for the Switch 1 version, even for the Switch 2: for a little money on the eShop, ideally during a sale, you can simply upgrade it, and the upgrade doesn’t take up much memory space.

I recently started Metroid Prime 4: Beyond on the Switch and, although I haven't finished it yet, I can already say that it has won me over. The game manages to create a very relaxing yet mysterious atmosphere.

Exploration is its strong point — every area invites you to study it at your own pace, without pressure. The graphics and sound contribute greatly to this immersive feeling, while the overall aesthetic maintains the identity of the series.
