  • Every summer, I get an inexplicable urge to read only romantic little books, and this year is no exception! So, taking a look at my TBR, I was captivated by the book of my favorite Italian author who has sold millions of copies and writes wonderful love stories. Thus, I read her second translated novel from Minos Publications, Heart for Rent, and it did not disappoint me!

Summer is a screenwriter for television series and is trying to climb the ranks in Hollywood. She is engaged and has her life in order. Blake, on the other hand, has a chaotic life but is a successful author of mystery/thriller books and changes relationships like shirts. Just when everyone wants to spend a peaceful summer at their friends' cottage, fate suddenly turns things upside down, and they accidentally book the same house for the summer. Co-habitation was definitely not in the plans as they hate each other and have so much to do during these months. Blake needs to finally write his book, and Summer her script. But love was not on the... agenda either!

A pleasant, cute romantic little book with spice that flowed easily. Just perfect for a summer at the beach! I finished it in 2 days, and although at some points I felt there were some gaps in the story, from the middle onwards it was extremely enjoyable! I can't wait for more of the author's books to be translated! I recommend it to you!!
