Personally, I stabilize the mice using my fingers resting on the mousepad (some simply prefer a larger curve on the back of the mouse so that it always rests on the palm for stability), for the way I hold it, I preferred the flatter curve it has. Also, the Glossy Black is very beautiful like Jet Black and has a special feel to the touch. The only thing I noticed immediately and still don't know if I like it, is that it has heavier clicks (good if you don't want to accidentally press them, bad if you want better response). You can download the driver from the Glorious website, but it may only work if you also do the firmware update. However, it comes by default with a 1000hz polling rate, 400-800-1600-3200 DPI settings (which are displayed with corresponding colors).
