I chose to get an affordable model from Asics. I got back into tennis after 20 years. I bought something inexpensive to see if I would stick with my hobby. Now I'm looking for something better. Stable and lightweight shoe. However, it's not for all-court, it doesn't help you run. More for baseline use, not for moving up. And they are quite stiff after moderate use.

Low durability. It lasted 1.5 years with use exclusively for ping pong, nowhere else, and it tore, the right shoe, a little further back from the height of the toes (I point this out so you understand that it didn't tear at the front by the toes but at an unrelated spot). It's a pity, because the rest of the shoe and the other one, the left, are in perfect condition.

For their cost, they were just fine. The rubber on the sole wore out relatively quickly.

Very light and comfortable shoe, especially for someone who wears a large size like me.

Decent overall, but that's about it.
