The standard edition consists of 2 discs and episodes 14-26 of the series, as well as the opening and ending songs without the credits and behind-the-scenes material from the dubbing.

It is the Taisho era in Japan. Tanjiro, a kind-hearted boy who sells charcoal to make a living, finds his family slaughtered by a demon. As if that weren't enough, his younger sister, Nezuko, the only survivor, has been transformed into a demon.

Although devastated by the new reality, Tanjiro decides to become a Demon Slayer to find a way to turn his sister back into a human, and to kill the demon that slaughtered his family.
