  • Type

    Jet

The jet helmet is lightweight and comfortable as it is easy to put on and take off. It offers great visibility and is cool. However, it lacks in safety compared to a full-face helmet because it leaves a large area of the face uncovered.

  • Material

    Thermoplastic

This is a plastic material mainly used in more affordable and entry-level helmets.

Thermoplastic shells, such as Polycarbonate or ABS, offer basic protection through deformation upon impact, with greater weight and lower production cost compared to composite materials.

  • Pinlock (Anti-fog Film)

    Not Supported

It is not compatible with the Pinlock system, so it cannot be installed. In this case, the helmet does not have the fittings for adding the Pinlock inner visor, which means there is no special protection against fogging or misting of the visor.

Description & Specifications

The Rainbow by STR is a jet helmet, which, thanks to its open design at the lower part of the face, can be put on and taken off comfortably. It is considered one of the lightest types of helmets, but it leaves a large area of the face uncovered, which makes it less safe compared to a full-face helmet. It is made from thermoplastic, a reinforced hard material with high durability.
