I found a solution from a veterinarian who suggested I use human shampoo made from beer barley, and honestly, my dog's coat is incredibly soft and smells wonderful, it makes a lot of foam and for the 6 months I've been using it, it has been irreplaceable and I haven't bought anything else since.
