The Plustek OpticFilm 8200i Ai film scanner digitizes 35 mm negatives and slides at an optical resolution of 7200 dpi and a color depth of 48 bits. Its infrared channel detects dust and scratches and automatically removes them from scanned images.

Multi-Exposure® increases dynamic range, reduces noise, and improves detail reproduction, while iSRD® removes dust and scratches and optimizes the image. Auto IT8 Calibration® calibrates the scanner in less than two minutes, and an IT8 calibration target is included. SilverFast 8 includes WorkflowPilot®, a graphical user interface, and preview, and is compatible with 64-bit computers.
