The Nike Claybreaker technology helps you achieve improved traction and less buildup on clay courts. The added grip in the front and midsole works with a wide traction pattern to help you slide with control. We then tested it on red clay courts in Europe under multiple clay conditions (cold, hot, wet, and dry).
Cut Quickly
A strong plastic plate in the midsole combines with a wide base to provide stability for quick cuts and sudden changes of direction. The synthetic material around the side helps keep your foot in place when moving side to side.
Move Freely
Extra rubber in the toe area, especially on the side of the big toe, adds durability where it's needed. High-friction rubber along the outsole provides durability and traction.
Zoom, Zoom
An Air Zoom unit in the heel provides support, while an Air Zoom unit in the forefoot adds spring to your step.
