Description

The RX27 Pro by Tenda is a router, a device to which other devices (e.g., computer, mobile phone, television) connect either wirelessly or via cable, and which distributes internet access to them. For internet access, it needs to be connected to a modem. It connects to the 5G network, which offers significantly higher speeds than 4G. For the device to operate at this speed, there must be corresponding coverage from the mobile network in the area where we are located.

It supports WiFi mesh, which means a complete home WiFi system with multiple access points designed to eliminate dead zones and provide seamless WiFi throughout the house, with higher speeds and more devices.

The device has the capability to set up a VPN (Virtual Private Network) so that the traffic from all devices on our network passes through it. The VPN acts as an intermediary between us and the rest of the internet, giving us the ability to appear as if we are geographically in another country, and the pages we visit see the VPN's address as the visitor, not ours. This provides us with anonymity and access to geographically restricted content. VPN services are usually paid with a subscription.

With MAC address filtering, it allows specific devices to connect based on their unique MAC address, blocking any device with a MAC address that has not been set as acceptable. It offers WPA2 security, a protocol that replaced WPA in 2004 and uses AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) technology, which is approved by the U.S. government for classified documents. It is considered safe for home use.
