Histidine is an amino acid with a distinctive chemical structure that gives rise to its unique biochemical properties, such as chelating metal ions (including copper and zinc) and neutralising free radicals. It is also a precursor molecule in the synthesis of histamine.

Each Lamberts® L-Histidine HCl capsule provides 500 mg of histidine hydrochloride in free form, ready to be absorbed by the body without requiring breakdown by digestive enzymes. Like all Lamberts® products, it is manufactured in the UK in accordance with the strict standards of Pharmaceutical GMP.

Nutritional information per capsule
L-Histidine Hydrochloride: 500 mg

Ingredients: L-Histidine Hydrochloride, bulking agent (white rice powder), capsule shell (gelling agent: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose), anti-caking agents (magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide).

Take 1–6 capsules daily with water or fruit juice, or as advised by your doctor or pharmacist. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. Amino acids are absorbed best when taken half an hour before food or before bedtime.

Precautions: Not to be taken by pregnant or breastfeeding women.

Allergens: This product contains no gluten, wheat allergens, barley, soya, eggs, milk or milk derivatives, lactose, nuts, fish, shellfish or sulphites.
