The SF-G series utilizes the UHS-II interface standard to achieve top data transfer speeds, with read speeds reaching 300 MB/s and write speeds up to 299 MB/s. These performance levels allow for rapid buffer clearing during demanding high-resolution burst shooting. The Video Speed Class V90 certification ensures a minimum sustained write speed of 90 MB/s, making the card capable of seamless 8K and 4K video recording at high frame rates, as well as VR content without frame drops, fully meeting the needs of modern professional cameras.

TOUGH Monolithic Construction

The card introduces an innovative manufacturing approach with single-piece molding (monolithic structure), eliminating empty space inside the casing. The design is free from vulnerable points, as it has no connection ribs (ribless) or write-protect switch (switchless), features that are the most common causes of breakage in conventional SD cards. This mechanical excellence provides resistance to bending up to 180 Newtons, a value that exceeds the standard SD specification by 18 times, ensuring the physical integrity of the storage medium even under conditions of intense mechanical stress.

IP68 Durability Certification & Environmental Shielding

The device has the highest IP68 certification, providing complete sealing against fine dust, mud, and sand. Its waterproofing allows immersion in water up to a depth of 5 meters for a period of 72 hours without risk of data loss. At the same time, the card is designed to withstand extreme environmental conditions, offering protection from X-rays (according to ISO7816-1 standard), magnetic fields, ultraviolet (UV) radiation, as well as drops from heights of up to 5 meters. SD Scan & File Rescue Software

For maximum security of digital files, the card comes with the option to use Sony's specialized software. The SD Scan Utility automatically checks the condition of the flash memory to inform the user before its writing limits are reached (on compatible operating systems). In addition, the File Rescue software is available, a powerful recovery tool that uses advanced algorithms to restore deleted or damaged files, including RAW image files and 4K XAVC S video files, providing a critical safety net for professional workflows.
