I preferred these specific socks to ensure that they would provide warmth in outdoor settings. According to their packaging and the specifications they mention, they can withstand extreme weather conditions and activities, even on a snowy peak of a tall mountain (see packaging photo).

In reality, I did not feel the warmth I expected, not to mention that on the first day I wore them, threads started coming off, something I have never encountered in my life before, which makes me doubt both their quality and durability over time.

I bought a pair of x-code hyperwarm GREY socks from a large sports goods chain, first impressions quite good socks, they do what the manufacturer promises. I wore them these cold days with mid goretex boots and after a short distance I walked, the socks warmed my feet quite well without making them sweat or causing overheating, at least not much. So, after realizing that the product suits me, I went back to the same large chain store after 3 days to buy another pair of the same socks. To my surprise, as I was observing them before the purchase, I noticed that they had loose threads coming out from many points of the sock, as if they had been worn out during transportation or maybe even during placement on the shelf, I don't know. So, after checking one by one all the pairs that the store had hanging, I found out that all of them had loose threads coming out from everywhere, and one of them had a small defect on the heel. This caused me insecurity, so I hesitated to make the purchase, fearing that if I bought them, they would break in a short period of time. I will remain reserved in the future if I come across a good batch like the first sock I bought, which was flawless, I will choose this company again.

Very good and high-quality socks, even though the reviews were very good, I was even more surprised when I tried them in action. I used them on a 10-day hiking trip and they performed exceptionally well! They don't squeeze the foot, they don't easily sweat, overall very convenient. I highly recommend them.
