Friend, did you secure the umbrella?!

If you didn't secure it and a sudden gust of wind came, don't complain... don't expect miracles from the umbrella....

The umbrella needs care, attention, and securing... so it doesn't fly away!!!

If you leave this umbrella alone in the sand, you mistreated it!!! I believe it was made to marry.... the Hammering stake! At least use the plastic screw, which is also cheap!

Maui 2.20 + Hammering stake + 3 tied ropes (2 facing the air and 1 on the opposite side) = the umbrella will perform miracles...! You will sit back, drink your freddo, and watch the spectacle around you as people chase after umbrellas, even in the sea! Many of them will end up collecting and leaving in the end!
Personally, only the 2.20, not even considering smaller ones, it is more sturdy and has thicker plastic ribs, it's not worth it for 10€. It is for 3 people, but if someone wants to lie down in the great shade it provides and you want to put a cooler or a bag, then you need a second one!
The Mykonos blue is code 1560 for the 2.20.

* In the photos, you will see that I married it... with the 32mm Hammering using its own handle for extra stability. However, the 30mm is its regular one, so you can remove its handle.
Tips: I tied small hooks to the ropes with great ease in the heat for easy attachment and detachment.

* We know its weak point! The RECALL! Personally, I don't even touch the recall button.
* Its fabric is thin! So I never leave it in the sand!
* Let's not forget that the umbrella was made to protect us from the SUN, NOT THE WIND!!
* The last time you use it, wash it externally with fresh water, even 2-3 bottles.

Enjoy your dives with health, and see you next year!
And as long as it lasts... it will have made its money back!!!!

The reclining mechanism is a joke! It broke with the first gust of wind...those who claim here that it is reasonable to break at the slightest, while quality and durability are advertised, probably have money to spare or own shares in the company...a simple umbrella I bought from Sklavenitis is cheaper and still holds up! And we're not talking about a storm but a simple breeze...shame on you!

It is the 2nd umbrella from the same company that breaks at the same point.
The first one lasted 6 summers on an island in the Cyclades with a lot of wind. After 6 summers I assumed that the reclining point had corroded and that is why, in a gust of wind, it broke. Otherwise, the umbrella ribs and the fabric are fine.
I bought this specific umbrella from the photo again a few days ago. Today, while I placed it properly on the beach with the impact pole and having it tied with rope on 2 sides, in a small gust of wind it broke again at the reclining point.
    I regret the 52€ I paid.

I have 2 umbrellas, one for about 4 years and the other for 2
They confuse the umbrella a lot and think it is a pergola or all metal, I don't know..
Or they simply don't know even the basic things.. And when it breaks, they blame the umbrella..

It is an aluminum umbrella, relatively light.. Quite large in size when opened.. Now if there is a lot of wind, none will hold.. But it has a base to pass ropes through at 5 points.. In general it is a thick tube.. Very high quality.. And the fabric has not suffered anything all this time.. In general it lacks nothing.. If you also put an extra base underneath, you don't need anything else.. Much superior to many others..

As soon as there was a little wind, it broke at the part that does the tilt. I did not expect this at all since this is not the first beach umbrella from this company that I have used. It's a shame for so much money you pay for it to break on the first use.

Waste of money, I bought it last year and this year, on the first opening, the wire that holds the braces broke (I repaired it with a stainless steel wire), and the second time I opened it, the pole broke (I put a second tube inside and joined it with small 4mm rivets so they wouldn't interfere with opening and closing). Pure hassle.

It is indeed decent, it does not rust, but the fabric is as other users show in photos, thin and fragile. It lasted us two years with heavy use. In the meantime, it suffered what happened to others as well, the wire that holds the ribs in the center broke (we always set it up with a hammer and ropes). I got wire of the same thickness and replaced it, and it extended its life further. We did not buy it again this year, though. We got the Hupa Riviera Blackout and it is a big upgrade. We have kept it as a second umbrella for emergencies

It is the best investment someone can make for summer vacations. I have had it for 3 consecutive summers on an island in the Dodecanese that has quite a lot of wind, and it has really remained intact. The ideal thing is to secure it with the hammering equipment so it goes well into the ground, as well as to also put rope through the special holes when the wind gets stronger. Also, we hang a bag on the pole when it is windy for extra weight. The shade it provides in extreme heat and blazing sun is truly incredible. You are completely covered for two people with chairs. People around you may be melting from the heat, and you underneath are really cool.

The Beach Umbrella offers great coverage, sturdy construction, and reliable UV protection so you can enjoy the sea with comfort and safety.

The vent enhances airflow and reduces wind pressure.
The blue color is impressive and fits perfectly in a summer setting.

Combine it with the impact pole (Golden Fleece Impact Metal Pole 32mm) to have the perfect combination!!

For as long as it lasts (for me, 2 summers) and only with an impact drill, it provides very good shade. Unfortunately, it broke at the same spot as it does for everyone else, at the point where it tilts back, even though I NEVER tilted it back. As I show in the photo, its material is very thin and even without tilting back, at some point it breaks even with a little wind and while tied down.

Nice size, good quality and good shade.
I used it in August in the Cyclades with meltemi winds and it was quite good.
Ideally, I would add a few ropes to hold it more firmly, and then there would be no issue at all.

It's definitely worth buying. Very high-quality construction and a noticeable difference in sun protection compared to a conventional one.
Personally, I bought it for €37 and it's worth the money rather than paying every year for a simple one that will break in strong wind.

Really happy with the size and the quality of the umbrella. We had to get a rope and pass it through the holes that the umbrella has, so it can stand on a really strong wind and it was doing the job. Pleased with the product and we used it every day more than 15 days at the sea. Good umbrella, recommend it for sure.

Its durability and its shade (with black interior color) are unparalleled. The large 2.2m one is even more stable than the smaller one I have from the same company. It withstands wind. It withstands rough handling. It is amazing! I use it with an extra iron accessory to place it in the sand. Its own sand stake does not do a good job. The plastic tip comes off and it also gets damaged. It definitely needs a better stake or this iron tip accessory that I use. Honestly, it is the best umbrella on the Greek market (judging by those I see on the beaches). I highly recommend it!

I will not choose it again. Three years with limited use and the recline broke. I repaired it at the company for €14 and apart from the hassle and the back and forth, the repair of the leg. They did not sew the fabric onto the ribs and it balloons like a hot air balloon. I expected much more from my purchase and the after sales services. Instead, I encountered poor workmanship and carelessness. From the same company, I had a metal umbrella for many years and with many kilometers under its belt.

This review is about the colour: Blue

The Beach Umbrella offers great coverage, sturdy construction, and reliable UV protection so you can enjoy the sea with comfort and safety.

The vent enhances airflow and reduces wind pressure.
The blue color is impressive and fits perfectly in a summer setting.

Combine it with the impact pole (Golden Fleece Impact Metal Pole 32mm) to have the perfect combination!!

    Family umbrella with sturdy construction
Of course, it's good to tie it with ropes
After that, it doesn't get affected by the wind

Very good for two people, regarding the size.
I have used it for two summers without any issues at all.
    Careful and quality construction.

Very good and large umbrella... and quite a quality construction...
Tested with quite a bit of wind and it held up.... up to 6 Beaufort it has no problem.... above that, due to its size, it's a bit of a risk......

Nice umbrella, large in size. Although I would like it to also fit in the trunk. It definitely needs a screw base because it flies easily with the wind.

I haven't used it much, but in the first 2-3 uses it seems to provide high sun protection and is resistant to the wind. Time will tell about its durability. The size is very satisfactory, it comfortably fits 4+ people in its shade.

This one is guaranteed. For strong winds, you might need some pegs to have peace of mind. Very convenient. No heat gets through. Just what you need.

Unfortunately, 3 of the same model have broken with the most sensitive point being the retraction mechanism. It is a good umbrella in general but it has its weak points.

Very sturdy construction, it even passed the ultimate test of the Cycladic wind!
The clips for the wind are very helpful.
Also, due to the black interior, it provides thicker shade. Overall, value for money

The price is a bit steep but I decided to take the risk. It provides very good shade with the black lining inside, but in a light breeze, it turns easily

  • It is the 2nd umbrella from the same company that breaks at the same point.

  • Very good choice and the shade it provides. It seems durable. So far it has been tested in quite a bit of wind and everything is fine.

  • I have 2 umbrellas, one for about 4 years and the other for 2
They confuse the umbrella a lot and think it is a pergola or all metal, I don't know..

  • As soon as there was a little wind, it broke at the part that does the tilt. I did not expect this at all since this is not the first beach umbrella from this company that I have used. It's a shame for so much money you pay for it to break on the first use.
