I have had it for 2 months, I got it for a room and ps5. I will compare it based on the money I spent on it at €350. It is a decent monitor, I play games at 120hz, quite good colors. If you want the ideal, monitors are over €700. So everything is good

I chose it because I wanted an ultrawide monitor with a good refresh rate (120+hz) and 1440p. I preferred it over the corresponding AOC CU34G2XP because it was cheaper by €40 and I liked the design better, even though I had the AOC 27G2U and was completely satisfied.
Spoiler alert: I shouldn't have skimped on the €40.
Given that it has the negatives of VA panels that I won’t comment on (poor viewing angles with discoloration), and the absence of a USB hub, I present the following.
Positives:
- Nice, sturdy stand with full customization.
- Nice design.
- Low price, at €299.
Negatives:
- Unacceptable light bleeding (attached photo), much more than I could bear to see.
- Terrible joystick for the monitor menu, it practically doesn’t go down, you have to do some tricks.
- Cheap plastic cover for the cables, it comes off with the slightest touch.
- It has its own proprietary power cable and not the classic three-prong.
- No matter how much I played with the settings, I couldn’t find a way to make the colors appealing to me; I didn’t deal with calibration beyond the Windows 11 settings, which are obviously inadequate.
Additional note:
- Without a display port cable and corresponding output port, you won’t see more than 100hz; I need to find an active adapter. Since my Ugreen USB-C docking station that outputs a DP port doesn’t allow me to select more than 100hz at 1440p.
Overall, the transition from 16:9 to 21:9 is not deemed successful although I see the positives of ultrawide and the higher resolution.

- Όσο και να έπαιξα με τις ρυθμίσεις, δε βρήκα τρόπο να κάνω τα χρώματα να μου αρέσουν, δεν ασχολήθηκα με calibration πέρα των Windows 11 που είναι ανεπαρκές προφανώς.

Bought on Black Friday for 280 Euros. After searching for quite a while for a monitor and coming from an old LG ultrawide, I ended up with this one or the Samsung G5 UW. I had seen both monitors on display in stores and I can say that fortunately, I didn't get the Samsung. There are quite a few negative comments here and on Reddit about this monitor, which is an exaggeration. The monitor has very vibrant colors, a fast refresh rate, and the 180 Hz is just what you need for both gaming and work. There is noticeable ghosting, as with most VA panels, but the curvature of the monitor helps a lot with this, resulting in it being minimally or not at all bothersome in a dark environment. The viewing angle isn't that great since you have to sit exactly in the center to experience 100% of the quality, but this isn't a problem because you sit in the center anyway. And finally, one of the things that holds true from what they say is the HDR, which is not good at all even if you adjust the settings both from the monitor and from the Nvidia panel. Personally, I didn't use HDR and I don't plan to, but it's something you should keep in mind. For the price, it's the best choice; don't go for the G5, you'll be disappointed
Αγοραστηκε στο black fridaqy για 280 Ευρω.Ψαχνοντας αρκετο καιρο για οθονη και ερχομενος απο παλια lg ultrawide,κατεληξα σε αυτη η στην samsung g5 UW.Και τισ 2 οθονες τις ειχα δει εκθεσιακες σε καταστηματα και μπορω να πω οτι ευτυχωσ δεν πηρα τη samsung.Υπαρχουν αρκετα αρνητικα σχολια εδω και στο reddit για αυτη την οθονη,πραγμα το οποιο ειναι υπερβολη.Η οθονη εχει πολυ ζωντανα χρωματα,γρηγορο ρυθμο ανανεωσης και τα 180 hz ειναι απλα οτι χρειαζεσαι οσο για gaming τοσο και για δουλεια.Υπαρχει ενα αισθητο ghosting οπωσ και στα περισσοτερα va panels αλλα η κυρτοτητα τησ οθονης βοηθαει πολυ σε αυτο με αποτελεσμα να ενοχλει ελαχιστα εωσ και καθολου σε σκοτεινο περιβαλλον.Η γωνια θεασης δεν ειναι τοσο καλη μιασ και πρεπει να καθεσαι ακριβωσ στο κεντρο για να βιωνεις το 100% της ποιοτητας πραγμα το οποιο δεν αποτελει προβλημα γιατι ουτοσ η αλλος στο κεντρο καθεσαι.Και τελος ενα απο τα οποια ισχυει απο αυτα που λενε ειναι το HDR το οποιο δεν ειναι καθολου καλο ακομα και αν φτιαξεις τις ρυθμεισεις και απο την οθονη και απο το nvdia panel.Προσωπικα δε το χρησιμοποιουσα το hdr και δε σκοπευω αλλα ειναι κατι που θα πρεπει να το εχετε στο νου σας.Στα χρηματα ειναι η καλυτερη επιλογη μη πατε για την G5 θα απογοητευτειτε
Excellent image for the money it asks for and very good build quality, the ghosting in dark scenes with high contrast (e.g. black background with white text) is slightly annoying. My first one had a problem (it would turn off randomly) and they replaced it for me, the second one when I have the brightness at 70% and above, has an annoying flicker after a little while of use (I tried it on 2 different machines). The strange thing is that when I read reviews before buying it, I didn't find anything negative. Proceed with caution.
UPDATE 12/17:
In the end, I will return it and they will give me credit to buy another monitor, the issue with the backlight flickering when it heats up is quite annoying. It's a shame because otherwise, it's a very decent monitor for the money it asks for, but in the end, it was too good to be true. I ended up with a Samsung OLED G8, the difference in image quality is like day and night (and in terms of money, okay...)
εξαιρετική εικόνα για τα χρήματα που ζητάει και πολύ καλή ποιότητα κατασκευής, το ghosting σε σκοτεινά σκηνικά με έντονη αντίθεση (πχ μαύρο φόντο με λευκά γράμματα) είναι ελαφρώς ενοχλητικό. Η πρώτη μου εμφάνισε πρόβλημα (έσβηνε τυχαία) και μου την αντικατέστησαν, η δεύτερη όταν έχω την φωτεινότητα από 70% και πάνω, κάνει ένα ενοχλητικό τρεμόπαιγμα μετά από λίγη ώρα χρήσης (την δοκίμασα σε 2 διαφορετικά μηχανήματα). Το περίεργο είναι πως όταν διάβασα reviews πριν την αγοράσω, δεν βρήκα κάτι αρνητικό. Proceed with caution
UPDATE 17/12:
Τελικά θα την επιστρέψω και θα μου δώσουν πιστωτικό να πάρω άλλη οθόνη, το κομμάτι με το backlight flickering όταν ζεσταίνεται είναι αρκετά εκνευριστικό. Κρίμα γιατί κατά τ' άλλα είναι πολύ αξιόλογο μονιτορ για τα χρήματα που ζητάει, αλλά τελικά ήταν too good to be true. Τελικά κατέληξα σε Samsung OLED G8, μέρα με τη νύχτα η διαφορά στην εικόνα (και στα χρήματα οκ...)

There are quite a few negative comments here and on Reddit about this monitor, which is an exaggeration. The monitor has very vibrant colors, a fast refresh rate, and the 180 Hz is just what you need for both gaming and work. There is noticeable ghosting, as with most VA panels, but the curvature of the monitor helps a lot with this, resulting in it being minimally or not at all bothersome in a dark environment. The viewing angle isn't that great since you have to sit exactly in the center to experience 100% of the quality, but this isn't a problem because you sit in the center anyway. And finally, one of the things that holds true from what they say is the HDR, which is not good at all even if you adjust the settings both from the monitor and from the Nvidia panel. Personally, I didn't use HDR and I don't plan to, but it's something you should keep in mind. For the price, it's the best choice; don't go for the G5, you'll be disappointed
Αγοραστηκε στο black fridaqy για 280 Ευρω.Ψαχνοντας αρκετο καιρο για οθονη και ερχομενος απο παλια lg ultrawide,κατεληξα σε αυτη η στην samsung g5 UW.Και τισ 2 οθονες τις ειχα δει εκθεσιακες σε καταστηματα και μπορω να πω οτι ευτυχωσ δεν πηρα τη samsung.Υπαρχουν αρκετα αρνητικα σχολια εδω και στο reddit για αυτη την οθονη,πραγμα το οποιο ειναι υπερβολη.Η οθονη εχει πολυ ζωντανα χρωματα,γρηγορο ρυθμο ανανεωσης και τα 180 hz ειναι απλα οτι χρειαζεσαι οσο για gaming τοσο και για δουλεια.Υπαρχει ενα αισθητο ghosting οπωσ και στα περισσοτερα va panels αλλα η κυρτοτητα τησ οθονης βοηθαει πολυ σε αυτο με αποτελεσμα να ενοχλει ελαχιστα εωσ και καθολου σε σκοτεινο περιβαλλον.Η γωνια θεασης δεν ειναι τοσο καλη μιασ και πρεπει να καθεσαι ακριβωσ στο κεντρο για να βιωνεις το 100% της ποιοτητας πραγμα το οποιο δεν αποτελει προβλημα γιατι ουτοσ η αλλος στο κεντρο καθεσαι.Και τελος ενα απο τα οποια ισχυει απο αυτα που λενε ειναι το HDR το οποιο δεν ειναι καθολου καλο ακομα και αν φτιαξεις τις ρυθμεισεις και απο την οθονη και απο το nvdia panel.Προσωπικα δε το χρησιμοποιουσα το hdr και δε σκοπευω αλλα ειναι κατι που θα πρεπει να το εχετε στο νου σας.Στα χρηματα ειναι η καλυτερη επιλογη μη πατε για την G5 θα απογοητευτειτε
Excellent image for the money it asks for and very good build quality, the ghosting in dark scenes with high contrast (e.g. black background with white text) is slightly annoying. My first one had a problem (it would turn off randomly) and they replaced it for me, the second one when I have the brightness at 70% and above, has an annoying flicker after a little while of use (I tried it on 2 different machines). The strange thing is that when I read reviews before buying it, I didn't find anything negative. Proceed with caution.
UPDATE 12/17:
In the end, I will return it and they will give me credit to buy another monitor, the issue with the backlight flickering when it heats up is quite annoying. It's a shame because otherwise, it's a very decent monitor for the money it asks for, but in the end, it was too good to be true. I ended up with a Samsung OLED G8, the difference in image quality is like day and night (and in terms of money, okay...)
εξαιρετική εικόνα για τα χρήματα που ζητάει και πολύ καλή ποιότητα κατασκευής, το ghosting σε σκοτεινά σκηνικά με έντονη αντίθεση (πχ μαύρο φόντο με λευκά γράμματα) είναι ελαφρώς ενοχλητικό. Η πρώτη μου εμφάνισε πρόβλημα (έσβηνε τυχαία) και μου την αντικατέστησαν, η δεύτερη όταν έχω την φωτεινότητα από 70% και πάνω, κάνει ένα ενοχλητικό τρεμόπαιγμα μετά από λίγη ώρα χρήσης (την δοκίμασα σε 2 διαφορετικά μηχανήματα). Το περίεργο είναι πως όταν διάβασα reviews πριν την αγοράσω, δεν βρήκα κάτι αρνητικό. Proceed with caution
UPDATE 17/12:
Τελικά θα την επιστρέψω και θα μου δώσουν πιστωτικό να πάρω άλλη οθόνη, το κομμάτι με το backlight flickering όταν ζεσταίνεται είναι αρκετά εκνευριστικό. Κρίμα γιατί κατά τ' άλλα είναι πολύ αξιόλογο μονιτορ για τα χρήματα που ζητάει, αλλά τελικά ήταν too good to be true. Τελικά κατέληξα σε Samsung OLED G8, μέρα με τη νύχτα η διαφορά στην εικόνα (και στα χρήματα οκ...)

I have had it for 2 months, I got it for a room and ps5. I will compare it based on the money I spent on it at €350. It is a decent monitor, I play games at 120hz, quite good colors. If you want the ideal, monitors are over €700. So everything is good
Την εχω εδω και 2 μηνες, την πηρα για δωμάτιο και ps5. Θα την συγκρίνω με βάση τα χρηματα που την πήρα στα 350€. Ειμαι μια τιμια οθονη, παίζω παιχνιδια και στα 120hz, αρκετα καλα χρωματα. Αν θελεις το ιδανικο τα monitor εχουν πάνω απο 700€. Οποτε ολα καλα
I chose it because I wanted an ultrawide monitor with a good refresh rate (120+hz) and 1440p. I preferred it over the corresponding AOC CU34G2XP because it was cheaper by €40 and I liked the design better, even though I had the AOC 27G2U and was completely satisfied.
Spoiler alert: I shouldn't have skimped on the €40.
Given that it has the negatives of VA panels that I won’t comment on (poor viewing angles with discoloration), and the absence of a USB hub, I present the following.
Positives:
- Nice, sturdy stand with full customization.
- Nice design.
- Low price, at €299.
Negatives:
- Unacceptable light bleeding (attached photo), much more than I could bear to see.
- Terrible joystick for the monitor menu, it practically doesn’t go down, you have to do some tricks.
- Cheap plastic cover for the cables, it comes off with the slightest touch.
- It has its own proprietary power cable and not the classic three-prong.
- No matter how much I played with the settings, I couldn’t find a way to make the colors appealing to me; I didn’t deal with calibration beyond the Windows 11 settings, which are obviously inadequate.
Additional note:
- Without a display port cable and corresponding output port, you won’t see more than 100hz; I need to find an active adapter. Since my Ugreen USB-C docking station that outputs a DP port doesn’t allow me to select more than 100hz at 1440p.
Overall, the transition from 16:9 to 21:9 is not deemed successful although I see the positives of ultrawide and the higher resolution.
Την επέλεξα γιατί ήθελα ultrawide μόνιτορ με καλό refresh rate (120+hz) και 1440p. Την προτίμησα από την αντίστοιχη AOC CU34G2XP γιατί ήταν φθηνότερη κατά 40€ και μου άρεσε καλύτερα το design, παρόλο που είχα την AOC 27G2U και ήμουν απόλυτα ευχαριστημένος.
Spoiler alert: Δεν έπρεπε να τσιγγουνευτώ τα 40€.
Δεδομένου ότι έχει τα αρνητικά των VA panel που δε θα σχολιάσω (κακές γωνίες θέασης με αποχρωματισμούς), απουσία usb hub, παραθέτω τα παρακάτω.
Θετικά:
- Ωραία, στιβαρή βάση με φουλ παραμετροποίηση.
- Ωραίο design.
- Χαμηλή τιμή, στα 299€.
Αρνητικά:
- Απαράδεκτο light bleeding (attached photo), πολύ παραπάνω από όσο θα άντεχα να δω.
- Τραγικός μοχλός για το μενού της οθόνης, πρακτικά δεν πηγαίνει προς τα κάτω, πρέπει να κάνεις αλχημείες.
- Φτηνιάρικο πλαστικό κάλυμμα για τα καλώδια, φεύγει με το παραμικρό.
- Έχει δικό του proprietary καλώδιο τροφοδοσίας και όχι το κλασικό τρίπινο.
- Όσο και να έπαιξα με τις ρυθμίσεις, δε βρήκα τρόπο να κάνω τα χρώματα να μου αρέσουν, δεν ασχολήθηκα με calibration πέρα των Windows 11 που είναι ανεπαρκές προφανώς.
Επιπλέον σημείωση:
- Χωρίς display port καλώδιο και αντίστοιχη θύρα εξόδου, δε θα δείτε πάνω από 100hz, πρέπει να βρω active adapter. Καθώς το ugreen usb-c docking station μου που βγάζει dp port δεν επιτρέπει να επιλέξω πάνω από 100hz στα 1440p.
Γενικά η μετάβαση από 16:9 σε 21:9 δεν κρίνεται επιτυχημένη αν και βλέπω τα θετικά του ultrawide και της μεγαλύτερης ανάλυσης.
