Has some black ghosting, as all va panels but its only really noticeable in high contrast scenarios like white letters on a black background, specifically when they move by fast. Overall good price and good value for this monitor, got it for 160 euros myself.

The monitor was purchased for gaming and performs very well.
The HDR is average. Maybe with some adjustment it looks better, I don't know.
For the automatic brightness adjustment that was mentioned, from the monitor's settings (joystick), go to smart energy saving and set it to off.

Good monitor, 3 stars cause you should go ahead and buy the IPS version of it for the way better monitor stand and also the way better quality of video etc. its worth the extra 40-50 bucks.

Coming from a 27-inch monitor for so many years, the difference is very positive! Much better colors, more comfortable for the eyes, and much better for gaming. At its price, it is more than worth it!!

I would give it 5 stars but unfortunately it has a built-in feature that increases and decreases the brightness depending on how much white or black there is in the image. Using some guides on the internet I managed to remove it for the most part but you need to follow a process to achieve this result. Other than that, as far as value for money is concerned, I would give it a 15/10

Very good screen for its price (145 euros), the only thing I would like better would be the brightness but that also has to do with the VA.

Finally, it comes with a Display Port inside the box while Skroutz encourages you to buy an extra HDMI for which there is no reason at all.

the screen is a gem for its price and one of the best choices, nice colors, nice lighting, many settings for more advanced users, very good for gaming but also for general use, the experience is perfect! of course, this also depends on your graphics card! it would be good to get your own adjustable stand because the factory one is not great..

The screen by itself was very mediocre... by making some small changes through the settings, I tweaked the brightness a bit and changed the mode from fast to fastest, and then through AMD's custom colour app (colour temp 10000 and saturation at 200) the screen became a beast... the colours are legendary and the issue with auto dimming disappeared or at least I don't notice it anymore. However, for someone who is not going to bother with what I mentioned and just wants it ready for gaming as soon as they connect it, the screen is a 7/10 but for its price you can't really complain.. :)

Very mediocre screen.
Usually on a white background I notice that the brightness automatically goes up and then drops again, which is noticeable to the eye.
Suddenly HDR activates randomly on videos on yt.
The modes it has to adjust colors are all terrible no matter how much I tried them.
Compared to an 8-year-old DELL monitor I have at work, the colors on youtube etc. are LIGHT YEARS better than LG's.
Now for gaming it won't disappoint, if you have a good graphics card you'll be fine.
But overall it's a mediocre monitor, if I could I would give it away to get something better.

The friend below was right who said that with the amd adrenaline edition the colors and image improve quite a bit.

At first I had doubts because of the VA panel (ghosting, black smear, slow response times), but in the end the screen really impressed me... Perfect design and convenient for everything (Movies and reading up to demanding gaming)!! This is a quality VA panel from LG, with minimal ghosting, beautiful colors, 180hz and generally an easy menu to learn..
Perfect contrast with very good blacks and of course 1000r curvature that immerses you in the game!! In gamer mode 2 with adaptive sync basic and response time set to fast, ghosting does not exist!!
The HDR is quite good as are the viewing angles (Not something amazing but it won't ruin your experience).. With the display port on the PC it flies and on the PlayStation 5 it also performs excellently. Purchased at 152 euros, if you find it under 180 grab it, it's a very good price guys.

I have had it for about two weeks and I can say that I am very satisfied with its performance. The colors are very natural and the screen is easy on the eyes, even after hours of use. The 1000R curvature makes a big difference in gaming, especially in FPS, but the experience is just as good for movies or everyday use. At first, the curvature may seem different, but you get used to it quickly and it does not tire you out.

For its price, I consider it an excellent choice, perhaps the best in 2K resolution with 180Hz and 1ms response time. So far, I have not found any negative aspect. Note that I have it on my own aftermarket stand, so I cannot comment on the factory one.

Overall, if you are looking for a large, fast, and comfortable-for-the-eyes monitor for gaming as well as everyday use, the LG UltraGear 32" is definitely a worthy purchase.

Excellent screen for its money, it competes with more expensive options. I didn't buy it for gaming but as a second screen in a studio setup with vesa arms, I am absolutely satisfied, both with the color quality and the overall performance. I think it's the only 27-inch screen in this price category with a 2560x1440 resolution. Very good!

Excellent for its price. Easy to connect, fast response time, plenty of features for someone to experiment with, simple but useful menu, lightweight and with a bit of adjustment it has amazing colors.

HDR doesn't do such a good job, personally I prefer to adjust the screen colors myself either from its built-in menu or from the NVIDIA control panel. Another downside is the viewing angle, but what can you expect from a VA panel?

Everything is very good, picture, colors, menu, but this energy saver no matter what I've done with the settings doesn't want to turn off, but it's worth every euro

Bravo to LG for managing to fit 2K resolution, 180Hz, FreeSync, a quality VA panel without noticeable ghosting, and a menu that is very easy to use at such a low price. It's hard to find something better for its money.

beautiful colors

Perfect screen, I only have it for gaming first person shooter, the 180 Hz and the one ms response time make you feel like a god in the game, even if you are a noob like me, you see everything very quickly without any lag

The screen is perfect. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it has a feature that when what is displayed on the screen is dark, then the brightness automatically decreases. When the displayed image becomes bright again, it does a small fade until it returns to normal brightness. What I'm describing is very subtle but still noticeable.

my girlfriend and I watch movies and we sit a little further away and the picture is wonderful.

I received it today and the only negative is that it doesn't have speakers unlike what is stated in the specifications on the site

at least excited. after 30 years in IT, I managed to get something that I am sure I will enjoy... I am not a gamer but a professional who wants to not get tired in the first hour of work. I still have a long way to go to complete the "setup" but colors/clarity/accuracy upon first contact are better than expected
