The JBL Stage 240B is a compact speaker approximately 11” tall. It features a 4.5” bass/midrange driver and a 1” high-frequency tweeter. Additionally, it has a rear bass port for dynamic bass. The recommended maximum amplifier power is 125 Watts, while low-power amplifiers can drive this speaker to high volumes. The frequency response extends up to 25 kHz. This is the smallest speaker in the series and is suitable for main left and right speakers in a small room. They can also be used as surround speakers with JBL AV amplifiers.
- 4.5” BASS/MIDRANGE DRIVER: The bass/midrange driver features a ribbed Polycellulose cone. This cone has increased rigidity and damping characteristics.
- ENCLOSURE QUALITY: The enclosure is made of MDF with good acoustic characteristics. The internal bracing reduces vibrations.
- CROSSOVER: The crossover splits the sound into two zones for feeding the tweeter and the bass/midrange driver.
The JBL Stage 240B is part of a series of speakers designed to work with the current range of JBL AV amplifiers. It is available in Espresso or Latte finish with solid color front baffles and matching grilles.
