The design was developed in collaboration with paediatric dentists, and some of its features are patented. The pacifiers come with a storage and sterilising case. Before first use, boil them for 5 minutes or sterilise them, then leave them to cool. Wash before each use, without harsh cleaning agents, and do not dip them in sweeteners or medication. Replacement every 1–2 months is recommended, and use should be discontinued at around 3 years of age.
