    It has a small but somewhat annoying drawback, that the flow of water from the spout is turbulent, due to the perforated holes instead of a free (with filter) opening. When there is little water, as you tilt the kettle, the turbulent flow becomes more intense. And the round lid does not close/seal hermetically. You worry that hot water might escape from the lid as you tilt the kettle, so you press it down with your other hand.
