The game Sand is inspired by a vast desert landscape, where the last humans are trying to survive. Players take on the role of brave desert travelers, who traverse paths and visit various cities, gathering goods and transporting them to other locations to earn gold.
It features a pick-up-and-deliver mechanism and can be played either solo or in teams of up to four players. The goal is to earn as many gold coins as possible after six rounds (five in a four-player game).
As players cross the dunes with their trusty caterpillars, they will encounter helpful companions and be called upon to complete quests that will offer great benefits at the end of the journey. Their mission is to help plants take root again, perhaps bringing hope to this barren land.
Designed by Ariel Di Costanzo and Javier Pelizzari with illustrations by Ernest Sala, Sand offers a unique gaming experience in approximately 120 minutes.
