In Word Traveler, you and your friends are tourists exploring the sights of a new city. Each player has their own secret map of locations they want to visit and will need the help of other players to reach them.
Taking turns as tourists and locals, everyone collaborates to visit as many locations as possible, ideally collecting all the golden souvenirs you find. However, you only know a few words in the local language, so the locals — that is, the other players — will do their best to interpret your clues and help you get where you want to go... without getting lost in translation.
