It is 1598 and you have settled in the middle of France, in the city of Orléans in the Loire. Your goal is clear: To build a cathedral in Orléans — all together, because only together can you face this challenge!
In the cooperative game "The Cathedral of Orléans", players will hire followers known from Orléans to perform actions — knights, craftsmen, scholars, merchants, and monks — but these followers are divided into two bags, so the question you will constantly face is: From which bag should I draw to get the desired piece? You will want to remember which pieces go into which bag at the end of the period, sharing tasks among yourselves to work your strategy as efficiently as possible.
Time is always a pressing issue. The cathedral must be completed by the third period at the latest, and if a piece can no longer be placed elsewhere with an action, it must go to the bell tower, with the sound of the bell ending the period.
