Renature is a majority-based board game with dominoes for 2-4 players.

Each player takes a game board with large wooden pieces in the form of grass, bushes, pines, and oaks. These plants are used for majorities on the large valley board and are available in neutral color and the corresponding player color. Additionally, each player acquires a stack of dominoes with two out of ten animal patterns.

On your turn, you place one of the three dominoes you have in hand in two stream positions on the valley board. The domino must be adjacent to another domino showing the same animal. If the placed domino is adjacent to a free space in a brown area, you can decide whether to place a piece of grass or another of your plants in that space. Grass pieces have a value of 1, bushes 2, pines 3, and oaks 4. After placing the plant, you score points for it and for each plant piece already in that brown area that has the same or lower value.

Once a brown area is enclosed with dominoes, majorities are counted, and the player with the highest total plant value in the area wins the points indicated as the large number on the area's flower. Whoever has the second highest value takes the lower number. Two things make this game particularly challenging: Neutral pieces count as their own color and not towards the majorities of the player who used them. Also, if majorities are tied, they are treated as if they do not exist in the area. After the area is counted, the player who enclosed it receives the area's flower, which will give them additional points at the end of the game.

During the game, you may run out of plants, but these can be bought back from the game board with clouds. Clouds can also be used to buy an extra turn and appoint a new animal joker. This animal counts as all animals and makes its placement easier. At the end of a player's turn, draw a domino and it is the next player's turn.

Once all players have finished their dominoes, the game ends with a final scoring.
