The QE board game by Allplay is a game of economic strategy and auctions for 3 to 5 players. Each player takes on the role of a central bank and bids on companies from four countries through auctions with no upper limit on bids. After the starting player’s initial open bid, the other players submit secret bids.
The 16 companies award different victory points, with additional points awarded for sets of companies through nationalization, monopoly, and diversification. At the end, the player who has printed the most money loses all their victory points, even if they had accumulated the most. The game was nominated for the 2023 Spiel des Jahres.
