We went to the WONDERFUL Barcelona - which is, however, "hell" because of the heat and MAINLY because of the 78% humidity! I used it "by hand" too (out on the street, while walking and seeing the sights), but ALSO in the hotel room - it "stands" on the nightstand/table just fine and "puts out" (air) really well.

As for HOW much air it gives...
Well, okay, it’s not the "super powerful" little fan, obviously - since it’s tiny. I had it on the 2nd or 3rd "setting" (it makes a little noise, but nothing major). Of course, if the atmosphere is GOD-HEAT & HUMIDITY (Barcelona), it doesn’t "send" cold air but warm air, however it does its job.

IT LASTS MANY HOURS in continuous operation, over 10-12 hours!

You need to be careful how you hold it and how you keep it close to you, because it has a "safety mechanism" when the "blades" (fan) hit something (e.g. your body or your hand), it automatically stops spinning (so it doesn’t "cut" off a finger), so you need to learn how to hold it so it doesn’t stop often (if it touches your hand often).

It also has a flashlight (I didn’t use it) and it also works as a "powerbank" (I didn’t use it that way either)... I bought 3 of these, one for me, my wife and the child, and they worked just fine.

It is (theoretically) the "flagship" of these small portable fans; the other cheap ones do the job (other fellow travelers had them), but they DISCHARGE very quickly...
