As a holder of a boruit flashlight for about 15 years, I decided to try a flashlight from the same company again. I purchased 2 flashlights for €22.86 on 21/8/24.
    POSITIVES:
    1. The beam has zoom, which is essential for me in a flashlight. You can adjust the zoom with a simple action by pulling the front part of the flashlight in or out.
    2. Satisfactory brightness, not the lumens it claims, but for the non-specialized user, it is more than enough. It lights up quite far.
    3. You can adjust the brightness with 3 levels. Also, by pressing and holding the switch, the side part of the flashlight lights up with white light or blue-red as an SOS indication.
    4. Very lightweight, so you don't get tired.
    5. Due to the very wide beam, it can also be used as a bicycle light. It lights up the entire width of the road. Just find a way to secure it, and with its very light weight, it doesn't affect the steering movement.
    NEGATIVES:
    1. The body of the flashlight is plastic, nothing like the old boruit ones that were made of metal.
    2. The assembly is mediocre; it fell and the front system (lens and ring that holds the lens to the body of the flashlight) broke apart. I easily reassembled it. However, you feel that it is not a sturdy construction.
    3. It is definitely not waterproof. There are small gaps in the assembly.
    4. The battery is not removable, which means you can't replace it. This is a big minus for me.
    5. I bought 2 flashlights. After three months, the battery of one flashlight does not charge. The flashlight only works when plugged in. Now I have to look for a way to open it to replace the battery. There is 1 small screw on the side; it might be unscrewed. It will probably require a soldering iron to solder the wires to the battery terminals, etc. A big hassle that could have been avoided.

Is it worth it? For €20, probably. It lights up well. Would I buy it again? No, due to the non-removable battery.
