The ELM 327 OBD 2 car diagnostic scanner connects via WiFi and is compatible with Android and iOS. It automatically detects and interprets OBD2 protocols, while supporting high-speed communication and low-power operation. AT commands enable communication with a host device, such as a computer or notebook.

With compatible software, it can be used to monitor engine parameters, read and clear DTC codes, and measure MPG. It features a built-in power switch, so it does not need to be continually unplugged from the OBDII port. It connects to iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad via WiFi in ad hoc mode.
