    I only hope the battery doesn't give out quickly because we've had it for just two months. Otherwise, it is excellent! The classic corded one we have is a turbo Miele, also excellent for pets and of similar cost, and I would say they are completely equal! I obviously got the stick for convenience. It's amazing how well it vacuums carpets!

    A big downside is that to vacuum, you have to keep pressing the button the entire time you use it. It's not hard and presses easily, but if you vacuum for a long time it's annoying, and it's tragic for supposedly the best company in stick vacuums.

    Also, every random company that makes stick vacuums puts a light on the head so you can see hair and dust/debris even better in low light. Dyson could do that too.

    Despite all that, there's no question I would buy it again!
