Specifications
The Pure CYC-CTOP 2510-P5 replacement water filter uses solid coconut shell activated carbon and filters particles as small as 0.5 μm. Hydrophilic technology helps ensure an even flow of water with minimal pressure drop and reduces channeling in the filter.
It reduces chlorine, odors, chlorine by-products, sediment and particles, as well as organic compounds such as pesticides. It also reduces cysts such as Giardia, Cryptosporidium, Entamoeba and Toxoplasma, and bacteria or microorganisms ≥ 0.5 μm in size. Cyst reduction is based on the NSF Standard 53 protocol. The filter does not release carbon dust and should be replaced according to its filtration capacity or every 12 months.
