The Noctua NH-D15 G2 HBC active CPU cooler uses eight heat pipes and two NF-A14x25r G2 PWM fans with speed offsetting. The HBC version has a base with increased convexity, optimized for LGA1700 processors used with full ILM pressure or permanently deformed by long-term use, to maintain good contact with the processor’s concave surface.

The asymmetrical fin layout allows unobstructed use of the top PCIe x16 slot on most modern motherboards. The multi-socket SecuFirm2+ mounting system uses a Torx mechanism, and the package includes an NM-SD1 screwdriver and NT-H2 thermal paste.
