Organic Oregano Essential Oil 10ml

Essential oils are volatile substances that are isolated through the process of distillation. Essential oils are primarily produced from aromatic plants, fruits, and spices, and they evaporate very easily. Due to their volatility, essential oils have a characteristic aroma and are used in aromatherapy and in the beautification of the face and body.

Oil Uses:

• Inhalations: Add 2-3 drops of essential oil to a bowl of warm water. Place your face over the bowl and cover yourself with a towel. Stay for at least 10-15 minutes.
• Compresses: Add 3-4 drops of oil to a bowl of warm water. Soak a hand towel, wring it out, and place it on the area of the body that needs attention.
• Massage: Add a few drops of essential oil to vegetable oil.
• Bath: Add 6-8 drops of essential oil to your bathtub and stay in for 20 minutes.
• Aromatherapy: Add water and about 3 drops of essential oil to your burner.

Oregano essential oil contains the compounds carvacrol and thymol, which give it antimicrobial properties. It is mainly used to combat respiratory issues such as asthma and cough. It is known for its strong antiviral and antifungal action. It blends well with: Thyme, Eucalyptus, Lavender, Pine & Tea Tree. Oregano essential oil is very potent and should always be diluted with oil.
