The Hartmann Putterbinde elastic self-adhesive sports bandage has low extensibility, with a fabric elasticity of approximately 90%. It is made of 100% cotton and is intended for reverse-turn bandaging. It applies high pressure during movement, while the pressure is low at rest.
It maintains its compression effect even when applied continuously and is breathable. Washing instructions are printed on the end of the bandage. It is used for strong compression after sclerotherapy for varicose veins, as well as for acute and chronic venous congestive oedema, leg ulcers and thrombophlebitis.
