The machine works just fine for the job it is supposed to do. That is, a simple deep shave. Those who leave bad reviews probably don't know how to shave or don't know how to use shaving machines. I really wonder about the comments... most people probably don't know how to use a shaver.
It needs to be really close to work (first with the trimmer and then with the shaver), that's how ALL shavers are used! So either you do it every day or you first go over it with the other machine...
I use it professionally in a barbershop and I have absolutely no issues. Of course, after some time, the cutting head needs to be replaced (once a year with heavy use) because with use it doesn't cut as well and needs many passes!
It is the cheapest shaver and the period it cuts well is the same as more expensive ones! So for me, it's a yes!

The blade lasts up to 6 months for a perfect cut, definitely worth the consumer's time. It doesn't irritate at all, it shaves well in dry conditions, and its battery is amazing. I bought it as a second machine after reading the reviews here and because it was affordable and I wanted to have an alternative since I have a Panasonic that costs twice as much. As for the shaving, it does the same job as the Panasonic in depth! The only disadvantage it has is that it doesn't have a trimmer and that is a serious issue, luckily I have the Panasonic. It also pulls when the hair is over three days old, but we can solve this by wetting the machine before use. Overall, for its price, it is definitely worth it!

I was looking for a shaving machine so that I could have a quick and dry shave. For my facial hair, it must be at most 2 days long, the skin must be very tight to cut to a degree that I have to find new methods to pull it in difficult areas, but still requires many repetitions.
For longer beards, it definitely needs to be first trimmed and then the shaver should be used.
