I have bought two (same model). The first one (last year's) works perfectly. No problem. The second one (purchased 13/10/2025) drained its battery in a week and disconnects every 2-3 days (needs reset, new pairing, routine fixes...). However, when it works, it works well.
Both are connected to the same hub.
What can I say???

It rarely gives a false alarm. The batteries are relatively expensive but last a long time. Together with the RF Bridge, you can create many applications either for alarms or for lighting. Excellent for their price.

It started detecting motion without any movement. I kept closing it every little while, even inside the drawer.

They were purchased for automation through home assistant. Connection was made with a ZigBee tuya hub, with which the sensor never sent motion cleared, resulting in it not being able to be used. Afterwards, I read many reports on the internet with similar problems from users. Before throwing it away, I decided to try the native integration of home assistant by purchasing a sonoff USB dongle p (plus). It connected immediately and has been working flawlessly ever since! If you are indeed experiencing issues with this particular sensor, it may be a problem with the ZigBee hub.

I have purchased the product a month ago and so far it works as it should. I don't need to change the battery like I see in other comments. For its price, I consider it quite reliable.

With the instructions provided by user roa below, the device works perfectly. I have connected it to Home Assistant through SONOFF ZIGBEE BRIDGE. Perhaps the disconnections are due to the channel of your WiFi. Try changing the channel

Very good, expensive, fast in response and its battery lasts a lot. I don't know why I read comments about its bad battery. I have had it for 4 months already and the battery indicator is still on high (meaning full). Note: I have it indoors to turn on the lights on an indoor staircase. The cooperation with ZBBridge is flawless.

Described in one word: 'Garbage'. Stay away. I bought two, over 1+ month ago. They are the worst devices I have ever used. They do not have the range they claim in any case whatsoever. Even in the same room, without obstacles, outdoors (without other networks), both devices are out of network most of the day, at a distance of 1-2 meters from the zigbee coordinator. Out of the 34 zigbee devices, these are the only devices that behave like this. The 'you get what you pay for' principle would indeed apply here if zigbee devices were not already excessively overpriced compared to competing technologies.

You get what you pay for. Excellent product for its price. I have it as a sensor to turn on the lights in the room, and it's okay. From the moment it detects motion, it takes 2 minutes to send another motion detection. So if something passes in front of it, you will receive a notification, but if something passes again within the next 2 minutes, you won't receive one.

For now and after about 3 weeks of operation, the sensor works without any problem, while during its operation it did not send any false detection and I also did not notice any failure in real detections that were made in its monitoring area.
RE-EVALUATION:
Initially, I rated it with 5 stars, but now after continuous operation for 5 months, I saw one of the three sensors becoming useless and the other two occasionally getting stuck and needing a reset to function again. This happened at least 2-3 times, which means that in order for them to continue functioning, you have to constantly monitor their uninterrupted operation

Give some extra money to get something more reliable. Constant disconnections, freezes on motion detected, battery runs out quickly. If you're going to deal with the basics for so long, find something else and use your time more creatively. (I've bought 3, all dysfunctional)

For indoor use, it is very good, it has excellent connectivity with Alexa. And you can create routines - scenarios through the ewelink app or Alexa. The connection with Google was not as good

At least 2 out of the 3 give false alarms, now I will try the third one, but I already know the result.

Also, I have the large PIRs from Sonoff, one indoor and one outdoor, they do not give false alarms (fortunately).

It does not work well outdoors as it is heavily affected by light. The motion detection alarm system gives false alarms

I don't know why some people have complaints. I installed it above the external door with a routine through Alexa when it gets dark and detects motion, it turns on a floor lamp in the hallway for 1 minute so I can enter the house. Everything I have bought from SONOFF and I have bought many things, all work flawlessly.

I have bought two of these for a year now, not satisfied at all. Within a year, I have changed batteries more than 7 times for each one (only reputable batteries), and even though it claims to have a full battery, it suddenly dies after a maximum of 10 hours. Once I change the battery again, it's okay for about a month. I will try using external power supply because it's not possible to constantly buy batteries.

It is not trustworthy unfortunately. It gave me false alarms and the siren went off for no reason.
Convenient as a concept, it immediately sends a signal to the Sonoff ecosystem, but the false alarm, and several times at that, disappointed me.

Not very reliable with the Sonoff Zigbee Bridge. However, by changing the firmware to Tasmota (zigbee bridge), no problem

It is good for running simple routines with Alexa in a smart home. Not suitable for security sensors for alarm systems. After detecting motion, it goes into sleep mode for 1-2 minutes. It experiences some disconnections.

It doesn't work, it gives false detections causing the lights to turn on for no reason and it wastes battery excessively!!!

I will not say that I am thrilled by its sensitivity!
It is well constructed and easily connectable through the Sonoff application.
It connects instantly with Amazon Alexa
