Description & Specifications

"Underground" serves as a kind of prelude to the second part of his creative career, the precursor to great works, the works of ideas. Just like the work "The Suffering," this is essentially a study of a single character.

The hero, or rather the anti-hero, as Dostoevsky calls him, is a person with an elevated level of awareness and self-confidence, whose sensitivity sometimes leads him to retreat into his corner, into his underground, and sometimes to seek revenge for his humiliations by humbling others.

Dostoevsky stated in his notebooks that he was proud to be the first to描绘 this "real person of the Russian majority" and presents this ugly and tragic view of him裸. The tragedy lies in his awareness of his own deformity...

He is the only one who painted the tragedy of the underground, an image based on martyrdom and self-torment, the consciousness of what is excellent and the inability to achieve it, and above all, the firm belief of these unfortunate beings that everyone else is the same as them, and consequently, efforts to reform are pointless.
