Glutamine is the most abundant amino acid in the human body, with its total amount amounting to approximately 80 g in an adult weighing 70 kg. The highest concentrations of glutamine in the body are found in the intestinal mucosa and in muscle tissue.

The increased concentration of glutamine in the intestine reflects the fact that glutamine is used as the preferred energy source by enterocytes. This makes glutamine sufficiency a necessary condition for maintaining intestinal homeostasis.

Each L – Glutamine 500mg capsule by Lamberts® provides 500mg of L-glutamine in free form, ready to be absorbed by the body, without requiring breakdown by digestive enzymes.

It should be noted that while the body under normal conditions meets its glutamine needs through endogenous biosynthesis, in certain situations such as illness and trauma, the body's needs cannot be met, making the supplementary intake of glutamine through food necessary.

Nutritional information
Per L-Glutamine 500mg capsule Ingredients: L-Glutamine, Capsule Shell (Gelling agent: Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose), Bulking Agent (White Rice Powder), Anti-caking Agents (Magnesium Stearate & Silicon Dioxide). Take 1-6 capsules daily with water or fruit juice or as recommended by your doctor or pharmacist. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. Amino acids are best absorbed when taken half an hour before food or sleep.

Precautions: Not to be taken by pregnant or breastfeeding women.
