The OPTIONS Student Book includes eight units with fun and enriched material, featuring activities to support teaching with different capabilities:

• Unit Theme and Vocabulary: Two different types of videos (real stories or documentaries) alternate on the first pages to introduce the unit and present the language in context.
• Grammar and Vocabulary: Grammar and vocabulary are presented and practiced first in the Student Book, with more exercises in the Workbook and online. The grammar bank provides clear explanations and additional exercises for use at home or in extra lessons.
• Listening and Speaking: This unit offers the development of listening and speaking skills based on themes, with differentiated tasks. The Teacher's Book provides full support with rich notes and advice.
• Reading and Writing: The main reading text in each unit is available in three versions – STANDARD, BASIC, and ENRICHED. The teacher or student can choose the most suitable task.
• Learning Skills for Life: Students tackle problem-solving in the form of communicative tasks and are encouraged to develop their creativity, critical thinking, as well as collaboration with others.
• Sustainable Development Goals, CLIL, and Culture: The topics in OPTIONS emphasize important human values that play a significant role in the development of youth: environmental awareness, tolerance towards other cultures and nationalities, empathy for others, and much more.
• Exam Practice: Regular practice activities and tips for the latest international exams.
• Digital Options: A rich digital material accompanies the Student Book, offering innovative approaches for differentiated learning in and out of the classroom. Accessible on the user-friendly HELBLING e-zone learning platform or through the HELBLING Media app.
