With this work, fulfilling the wish of my beloved mentor, I attempted to open a window to the Folkloric Elements of the great cultural heritage of our refugee ancestors, who brought it from their ancestral land: the western shores of Asia Minor.

The Glossary of the Western Shores of Asia Minor does not claim any honors of distinction. In the pages that follow, there has been no attempt at grammatical processing, but rather an approach and depiction of a part of the aesthetic grace of the way the Ionians communicated in their troubled land.
