The Cascadero board game by Bitewing Games is a strategy game for 2–4 players featuring tile placement. Players place emissaries next to cities and trigger their scoring when the emissaries form a group or bear an official seal. The key choices are whether to create longer chains for synergies and objectives or smaller, separate groups for earlier scoring.
Scoring a city advances a player along the corresponding achievement track and can award victory points, additional advancement, an official seal, an emissary move, or an extra turn. The game ends when a player reaches 50 victory points or needs to place a tile but has none left. To claim victory, players must have reached the end of their achievement track; among them, the player with the most victory points wins.
