The SINUS PLUS 4000 12V inverter is used to power electrical devices that require an alternating voltage of 230V from batteries and a 12V direct current car battery. It can also be used as an emergency power source for devices that need continuous power supply, such as furnaces and central heating pumps.
The PLUS versions offer additional features, such as a control panel with a cable that can be connected to the inverter and operated remotely with the button on the panel. There are also 2 LEDs on the panel that inform the user about the status of the inverter (ON/OFF, error).
A feature that distinguishes sine wave inverters from simple classic AC/DC inverters is the alternating voltage output with a sine wave form, identical to that of the electrical grid. This enables the operation of devices equipped with electric motors and transformers, such as power tools, pumps, and low-power household appliances.
Simple, low-cost inverters actually produce a rectangular voltage, sometimes incorrectly referred to as a modified sine wave. Such voltage is not suitable for operating devices with inductive or capacitive characteristics and can cause damage to them.
