Description

Description

Manufactured with 7nm architecture, the 6 cores of the processor enhance multitasking. AMD SenseMI technology learns and adapts to your daily routine to offer you the true performance of 4 cores in whatever you do. Equipped with an unlocked multiplier, it allows you to push its performance to the limit, increasing the clock speed from 3.6GHz to 4.2GHz.

The processor does not have an integrated graphics card. This means that to have video output, you will need to use an additional discrete graphics card (discrete GPU), which will connect to the system's motherboard through the appropriate slot, such as PCIe (PCI Express).

AMD GameCache

More On-Chip Memory for Gaming Acceleration

Up to twice the cache of previous generations, GameCache is designed to reduce memory latency for higher frame rates in top titles.

Precision Boost 2

Boost performance when you need it

AMD Ryzen processors monitor power consumption and temperature. The processor can increase clock speeds in precise 25 MHz steps for any application without interrupting work.

AMD StoreMI Technology

Software that combines the speed of an SSD with the capacity of an HDD. With Store MI, the two independent storage media create a single Drive that, with the intelligent management of the software, gives us incredible advantages resulting in cost savings.

If you have an AMD X399 series, 400 series, or 500 series chipset, you can download the AMD StoreMI software for free.

AMD Ryzen Master Utility

The processors are factory unlocked so you can customize yours to your needs. The Ryzen Master program helps with setting up the processor with all the options you need.

It features a basic menu, an advanced menu, and real-time monitoring of the processor's system.

SenseMI Technology

AMD's SenseMI technology is a set of learning and adaptation features that help the AMD Ryzen processor adjust its performance to you and your applications thanks to machine intelligence (MI).

AMD Ryzen™ 3000

The AMD Ryzen™ 3000 are the world's first processors to support the PCI Express 4.0 (PCIe 4.0) standard, as well as compatibility with AMD's new X570 chipset, offering greater communication bandwidth and unmatched performance with the most advanced motherboards, graphics cards, and storage devices available on the market. They are also compatible with older generations of motherboards, providing new capabilities and value to your investment.

AMD Wraith Stealth Cooler

The AMD Wraith Stealth Cooler included in the package is cool, quiet, and low-profile.

If you find it for 50-60€, like I did, it's the best Value for Money available right now. For 70+ not so much.

It's quite efficient for a homeserver/homelab and for gaming with a dual Channel Memory config and a 6750XT/9060XT(16GB) card or higher, it runs 95% of games above 60fps.

The included cooler, of course, definitely needs to be replaced. It's not suitable for long-term use. The CPU will degrade very quickly and won't last over time. Especially if there isn't a motherboard with a proper VMR solution, there will definitely be a problem—not immediately, but certainly after a few years.

For 55 euros you are really stealing it. It's a beast. It's better to spend 30-40 euros more on a graphics card than to get a 5500 (which doesn't support PCIe 4.0 and has 16MB cache -_-). I highly recommend it! It plays everything at 1080p on medium-high (or even ultra). For multitasking it's very decent (e.g. in FL Studio I never had an issue.). The only problem is that sometimes the temperatures go up : /. Since it's an old model and the thermal paste is probably dried up, change it when you install it.

This is a very good processor. The most positive aspect, I would say, is its price for the performance it offers. For an average user, being able to pay €50 for a processor with a cooler or €40 for just the processor in tray, the value for money is excellent. However, it is important for one to know what they are looking for. Obviously, one can get a 5th generation processor and that is what I would recommend today. I simply mention that finally something of "old" (or rather, older) technology, but not obsolete (still very compatible with the times), is being priced at a decent rate. Such that the product is neither being dumped nor is the customer being deceived.

The products are just fine, but how is it possible that in the same order there is a motherboard and a processor, the motherboard arrives at its destination without any problem, and for the processor they are looking for us and calling us for three days supposedly because they can't find us...

Well, the processor in 2024 is a little beast for its price. I've had it for a month on an Aorus B550M Elite motherboard with a 4060 and 16GB at 3600MHz, and even though they say there's a bottleneck between them (cpu-gpu), it works flawlessly, without any issues. In Fortnite on all low settings, I get 250-300 fps and in Warzone on high settings, 140 fps. I highly recommend it.
