I have bought two filters so far because I have a Samsung side-by-side refrigerator. Everything was fine with the first change, but with the second one, after three months, the filter started leaking water from one base at the edge (not where the tube connects) and the kitchen got flooded without us noticing! (the filter was behind the fridge and the water went under the floor). Material failure? I don't know... Until then everything was perfect.

I can't give it 5 stars, especially if I compare it with filters that cost twice as much. It does its job, but coming from a water filter that wasn't built into a refrigerator, the difference in water quality is noticeable.

Nevertheless, for use with a refrigerator and for anyone who wants a genuine, compatible filter without problems, it is a safe choice.

Sometimes during the period of use, the smell of chlorine in the water was slightly noticeable and for this reason, as well as the price, we ended up with a product from PUREPro and so far I have not encountered any problems.
Update: After 13 years of using this particular filter, I can say that it does the job perfectly and its cost remains steadily at €16.

We use it on a daily basis all year round (in a Samsung refrigerator). We have never had a problem with water.

I have never had any leaks, not even the slightest. Easy installation and small size that generally helps. I haven't done any measurements for lifespan, but it doesn't give you the feeling that it lasts a short time compared to the price. Also, I haven't reached the level of chemical water analysis, so I can't judge. I haven't encountered availability problems even during the recent crisis period.

I highly recommend it. Although you can find cheaper filters suitable for Samsung refrigerators, I prefer the genuine ones as I believe they provide better water quality.
