    Three stars for how it smells. You can't call it terrible, it's not the worst thing out there and its longevity is amazing... but it's boring and excessive. Considering the price, it's baffling. It has a sense of fresh rose, with ginger and somewhere in the background there's vanilla, which in the dry down is basically what remains along with vetiver and patchouli. Something simultaneously modern and old-fashioned, yet aristocratic. There's an official Roja store at Harrods in London, and if you smell it there you'll say "ok... intense... pfff, a loud fragrance on the verge of annoying." Until they tell you the price, first writing it on a little piece of paper in front of you, and you just wonder "for WHAT reason does it cost 3.5 grand"!!! It's the epitome of capitalism!!!!! Not even if I were forced. Unless you're some big collector and want to have the ultimate collection, or if you're some magnate who wants to show off to fragrance connoisseurs and only there. It can't be justified for its price. It's not like you can say it's a magical olfactory elixir. Its scent is as if you're going to a Great Gatsby-themed party. As if you're gathering with your baron friends in some hall with diamonds and sapphires. I don't know who would want to spend that much money and smell like this... honestly. Pretentiousness to the max. Better to spend half and get 8 other fragrances that are much better and more sensual, which will really make you stand out and not just add to your endless "EGO."
