Description

Paranix Anti-Lice Spray & Comb is a treatment against lice and their eggs (nits) for the scalp of children. It comes in spray form and is combined with a special comb to remove lice and eggs after the treatment. 

Its action is non-insecticidal and is based on a natural – mechanical method: it causes suffocation and dehydration of lice and eggs in order to eliminate them. 

It is designed for use on dry hair, is odorless, and is easy to spray. It includes a special comb for better removal.

Instructions for Use


  • Before use: Check the hair while it is dry, detangle it, and use the special comb to detect lice or eggs. 

  • Application:

    • Hold the spray about 10 cm from the hair. 

    • Spray a sufficient amount to cover the entire surface of the scalp and hair.

    • Gently massage, starting from the scalp towards the ends, paying attention to the nape area and behind the ears. 

  • Action time: Leave the product on for about 10-15 minutes. The exact duration may vary depending on the version – it is often stated as 10 minutes or 15 minutes. 

  • Rinsing / Washing:

    • After the spray has acted, wash the hair thoroughly. 

    • Use shampoo (post-treatment or regular), first on dry hair if required by the product, then add water, wash, and rinse. 

  • Removal of lice and eggs: Before drying the hair, use the included special comb to remove any remaining lice or eggs. 

  • Reapplication / repetition: Check the hair after about 7 days and if lice or eggs are still present, repeat the treatment.

    • Ingredients

    • Mineral oil 
    • Dimethicone 
    • Additionally, some versions of Paranix contain Lyclol® along with dimethicone. 
    • In the description from some sources: plant/essential oils such as coconut oil and complexes of essential oils that contribute to the suffocation/dehydration action and have a cleansing/softening effect.
