The PULUZ PU981B protective metal case for the Insta360 X4 is made of aerospace-grade aluminum alloy, CNC-machined. It does not obstruct the buttons, battery compartment, or microphone openings. It includes a rubber lens cover to protect against scratches and other damage.

The top of the case features a cold shoe mount for connecting a microphone or light. The foldable mount has a magnetic interface compatible with the GoPro interface and a 1/4-inch threaded hole, for use with tripods and other accessories. The camera can be installed and removed without additional tools.
