Waterproof! That's why I bought it. I have tried it on a ski trip. Although it is not designed as a ski jacket, it completely covered me. (I fell in the snow and didn't feel any moisture)
Don't expect it to keep you warm in freezing temperatures. The second lining it has is a thin fleece jacket. For warmth, you need to wear thicker clothes underneath.

In the future, I will buy the North Face thermoball to replace the jacket in cold weather.

It has a waterproof outer membrane for a long time in the rain. The jacket with the fleece is quite useful and warm and soft. The elastic bands on the sleeves have a good fit. It has loops on both the jacket and the membrane for hanging. Elastic for gathering at the waist and hood. The zippers open easily with one hand. The negatives I have noticed are the slightly small pockets and the collar being a bit stiff.
Overall, very satisfied with the product.
