QMK and the Keychron Launcher web app let you customize keys, macros, and shortcuts. Its layout supports Mac and Windows, while the VIA software is compatible with macOS, Windows, and Linux.

The hot-swappable sockets let you change 3- or 5-pin MX-style switches without soldering. Its construction includes a steel plate, sound-absorbing foam, and a silicone dampening pad. The double-shot PBT keycaps have an OSA profile, while the south-facing RGB lighting is designed to avoid interference with alternative OEM- or Cherry-profile keycaps.
